Zhongli Yu

Zhongli Yu gained MSc in Translation Studies at the University of Edinburgh and PhD in Translation and Intercultural Studies at the University of Manchester. She is at present an assistant professor in Translation Studies at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. Her present research interests include gender and translation, translation of women’s writing, interpreting in war settings, and translation education. She is the author of Translating Feminism in China: Gender, Sexuality and Censorship (2015), and ‘Gender in Translating Lesbianism in The Second Sex’ (2011) in MonTI 3 Women and Translation, edited by José Santaemilia and Luise von Flotow.
