Yvonne E Waddell is a freelance BSL-English Interpreter from Glasgow, Scotland. She received her MA Interpreting Studies: BSL/English from the University of Leeds.
She currently resides in Scotland where she is a PhD student at Heriot-Watt University’s School of Management and Languages. Her research includes an examination of the rapport building strategies used by hearing clinicians in interpreted interactions with Deaf BSL patients in mental health settings. She is also a member of the ADEPT Scotland committee and has a keen interest in learning and development.
