I'm Director Studies for interpreting at Stockholm University (Sweden) and involved in the programs for community, conference and signed language interpreting. I defended my PhD in interpreting in 2013, and I have been an active interpreter since 1996. I am a Swedish state certified community interpreter, accredited to the EU and member of AIIC. At Stockholm University, I have been active lauching on-line tools for the interpreting courses and I like and use new technology in the interpreting classroom. My recent research projects cover medical interpreting in Child Cancer Care, child language brokering and expertise in Community Interpreting. I blog and tweet about research and pedagogical matters in interpreting.
