Stacey Webb is an Assistant Professor and a 3rd year doctoral student at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is a nationally (USA) certified American Sign Language-English Interpreter and Interpreter Educator. Her initial interpreter training is from Palomar College and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Deaf Studies is from California State University, Northridge. Additionally, Stacey holds a Masters of Education in Human Resources Development Colorado State University. Her research includes an examination of demands and pressures placed on interpreter educators and how these demands and pressures could be contributing to student outcomes and job performance upon graduation. Other research interests include interpreting, interpreter education, teaching and learning, distance education, blended learning and curriculum innovation as well as the governance and management of higher education.
